5/31 Kids Pond with Trent

Trent is an 11 year old with a passion for fishing. He goes on hikes with his family and wants to learn to fly fish the high mountain lakes of Rocky Mountain National Park. Since there is still snow on the ground in the RMNP, and the lakes are just coming unfrozen now, we decided to go practice at a place that is a lot easier to get to. This private pond is a great place to get kids into learning how to set the hook, watch an indicator, and work the drag of a fly fishing reel. Trent did awesome. He was a great student, excellent listener and soaked up lessons with each fish he caught….30 in total.
