Blake and Max are a couple of good fisherman who were really interested in learning fly fishing.

The grandfather of the boys was dropped them off at the shop and was not informed that guides work for tips. So, what would normally a 20-30% tip on the cost of the trip was a big $0. I have been doing this for 6 years and it took me a long time to finally have the courage to inform clients that gratuity is not included in the cost of the trip. It’s always an awkward topic because a tip is an extra bonus for the guide, but the reality is that most full-time guides rely on that money to get through the dog days of winter.
